Build Nebraska Awards
Purpose
The Build Nebraska Awards are intended to promote a greater appreciation of the work our member firms produce. Also, by recognizing the very best, we promote outstanding performance and quality construction throughout the entire state.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all Nebraska Building Chapter members. The judging criteria mirrors that of the AGC of America’s Build America Awards. If a project is a joint venture, all companies affiliated with the construction project must be Nebraska Building Chapter members.
Projects must have been completed in 2022, 2023, or 2024. The non-refundable entry fee for each project submitted is $295. Small and large projects will be considered equally—it is generally the uniqueness that determines Build Nebraska Award winners.
Judging
A jury team made up of peer construction professionals and AGC Members from across the United States will select the top outstanding construction projects to receive the 2024 Build Nebraska Awards. All winners will be announced at the fall social and awards dinner.
Awards and Recognition
The award winners will be announced during the fall social and awards dinner. The Chapter will promote all 2024 award-winning projects as well as distribute national and local press releases. Winners will be highlighted in a variety of media options including social media outlets. Plaques will be presented to the winner and honorable mention contractors. Also, plaques will be provided to present to project owners. The Build Nebraska Awards can be used as a high profile marketing tool for your firm. While promoting quality and innovation to your clients, prospective clients and architectural firms, you will be viewed by your peers as “one of the best.”
