Kevin Cannon

Program: AGC of America Safety and Health Update
Kevin Cannon is the Senior Director of Safety and Health at the Associated General Contractors of America. Kevin serves as the primary liaison for federal safety regulations. Kevin is responsible with monitoring regulatory activity relating to safety and health, communicating with members and chapter staff. He is also responsible for providing technical and other support for those directly involved in congressional relations, analyzing and otherwise assisting with any proposals for new or revised legislation that could have a significant impact on safety or health practices in the construction industry. Kevin is currently serving fifth term on the Federal Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) which advises the Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA on regulations, standards and policies that impact the construction industry. Kevin received his B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health from Millersville University and holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) as well as the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) through The Institutes.


Ezra Schlecht

Program: Returning to work after an OSHA or Worker’s Comp Reportable and Nonreportable
Ezra Schlecht
is a Safety and Loss Control Consultant with Marsh McLennan Agency.
With over 13 years in health and safety Ezra Schlecht has a wide range of real-world experiences to transfer to clients. Ezra helps clients protect their employees and lower total cost of risk by identifying exposures and implementing risk management solutions. Ensuring clients follow OSHA and DOT regulations. He has the expertise to inspect your facilities, identify potential hazards, and provide safety training to employees.

Ezra has extensive OSHA experience from private businesses to consulting roles. He has received the same training as OSHA inspectors and is qualified to pass his knowledge onto his clients. His areas of expertise are in construction and manufacturing industries where he has conducted hundreds of mock OSHA inspections.

Ezra has an Advanced Safety Certificate (ASC), is a Specialist in Safety and Health (SSH) in both general industry and construction, a Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO), and a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS). He is currently an OSHA Authorized Trainer for construction and general industry to provide 10- & 30-Hour trainings. Ezra is also a certified first-aid, CPR/AED instructor, certified Stop the Bleed instructor, certified ALICE instructor, and certified AVERT instructor (workplace violence).
