Program: Construction Spending, Labor and Materials Outlook—Macrina will bring her national perspective of the economy relating to the Construction Industry.
Presenter: Macrina Wilkins works as senior research analyst for the Associated General Contractors of America. She analyzes industry trends and compiles data products on the construction, labor, spending and material markets. Ms. Wilkins graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. degree in human development and is currently pursuing a B.A. degree in economics at George Mason University. She is a member of the National Association of Business Economists and National Economist Club.
Program: Nebraska Economic Outlook—Eric will provide the statewide economic perspective as it relates to development, construction and renovation in vertical construction and related industries.
Presenter: Dr. Eric Thompson, W.W. Marshall Associate Professor of Economics and the Director of the Bureau of Business Research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Eric’s research examines the sources and consequences of state and local economic growth and the economics of infrastructure.
