ABOUT THE PROGRAM: This roundtable discussion will generally cover the basics of insurance, indemnity, and other risk control mechanisms on construction projects to help contractors identify and plan for risks at the outset of a project. During our discussion we will provide an overview of the standard types of insurance coverage as well as specialized coverage types for specific risks. We will also cover contractual indemnity and its interplay with insurance coverage requirements. Finally, we will discuss best practices for handling a potential claim in the event of a loss.
